Programs try to incorporate both local indigenous as well as western solutions depending on the specific needs of each community. Specific areas of interest include clean water, nutrition, immunizations, maternal/child health, infectious disease, therapeutics, health education and exploring innovative investigatory tools for practical use in remote areas.
