The Parliamentary Centre is a Canadian not-for-profit, non-partisan organization that supports parliaments around the world. Our assessment, strategic planning and training programs, combined with research products and networking channels, help legislatures measure their performance, build capacity, tackle key issues and promote mutual learning. IN short- We help legistlatures better serve their people. Parliamentary Centre programing activities include training and advisory services to Parliaments and their staff regarding good government and Parliamentary capacity building in areas such as public financial management, transparency, improved accountability and deepening democratic processes. Methods include providing and coordinating seminars, workshops, study visits, research and publications, and encouraging dialogue between Parliaments and with civil society and other interested parties.
