We maintain a community hall where we hold meetings, suppers, luncheons. The community also uses the hall for birthdays, anniversaries, wedding & baby showers and community meetings. It is used in the federal and provincialelections. Our meetings are open to the community for our programs like travel, health, agricultural, crafts etc. We provide a bursary to a student for secondary education. We do an annual canvass for Heart & Stroke & Cancer. We knit finger puppets, toe socks and caps and donate them to local & provincial hospitals. We produce, edit and deliver a community newsletter.We cater for birthdays, anniversaries, organizations & funerals. We organize a Christmas community pot luck and program where we gather food for foodbank. We collect pennies/casino that are given to wins that go to wells, orphanages and scholarships in third world countries.
