MGLE consulted with the Manitoba Teachers of German Association about the kinds of books & educational material aids. Through fundraising & donations, MGLE purchases the needed items. MGLE facilitates a German Language contest in MG. A competition open to students with any degree of German Language comprehension. This contest is the only one of its kind in Canada & draws interest & support from various German Gov't agencies. MGLE provides prizes for the winner in a variety of catagories and attended to all proper financial & record keeping including issuing charitable donation receipts & payments of expenses. Since 9/04 MGLE offers a German Saturday school program for students K-12 and adults wishing to learn and improve their German language skills.
