Jubilate Singers presents high-quality performances of eclectic international music reflecting the diverse communities of the Greater Toronto Area in order to enrich audiences' understanding and enjoyment of different cultures. For our regular three-concert season, we provided free tickets to West Neighbourhood House, Regent Park School of Music, University Settlement, Dixon Hall Music School, and six other organizations via Kids Up Front. We also gave free concerts at Christie Gardens Apartments and Care, and at the Shrove Tuesday pancake supper at St. Leonard's Church. Refreshments at our concert intermissions were provided by The Coffee Shed at Surrey Place Centre. All refreshment sales by The Coffee Shed were retained for its partner Common Ground Co-operative to provide employment and training opportunities for people with developmental disabilities in their own community.
