1)On-scene Crisis Intervention: Victim response teams (volunteer and/or staff) are on call 24/7 to York Regional Police and the OPP to attend a crime scene, police station, home or hospital to assist victims of crime or tragic circumstance; 2)Telephone Crisis Support: Available 24/7 to persons victimized by crime or tragic circumstance who do not require on-scene support; 3)SupportLink:Persons at high risk of experiencing violence from an intimate ex-partner are provided with a mobile phone programmed to dial 911, as well as safety planning and counselling; 4)Volunteer Program:Screening and training of tiered volunteer corps(Victim Response, Team Leaders, secondary support, admin) to assist in service delivery; 5)Victim Quick Response Program: Provides persons victimized by domestic violence, sexual assault or homicide with short-term financial reimbursement for securing safety, counselling services, scene cleanup and funeral services.
