The WISH Drop-In Centre Society operates: - Drop-In Centre for women working in street level sex work. It is open 7 days a week from 6 pm to noon. In the past year, the Drop-In Centre served 30,530 diners, 19,885 breakfasts and 6,155 snacks in addition to providing clean clothing, showers, referrals, toiletries and and cosmetics, activities and events, in-house nursing care, and most importantly a safe, women's only place of respite from the street. - Learning Centre for women to develop skills and participate in learning opportunities 3 nights a week. - Mobile Access Project (MAP) outreach van, that is out on the street from 10 pm to 6 am, 7 nights a week, offering supplies, resources and support to women where and when they work. - Aboriginal Health & Safety Program: a culturally specific program for Aboriginal women working in the sex trade. - Aboriginal Women's Button Blanket group. - Supportive Employment Program providing volunteer and paid positions in and around WISH through the Peer Volunteer Program, or the Peer Safety Patrol, for those seeking to exit or replace sex work income. - Peer Volunteer Program to offer training and support for WISH participants to participate in the daily operations of the Drop-In Centre.
