During the year, our Every Child Belongs, Child Care Consultation program with the City of Toronto had an expansion for two additional staff members to support children with special needs so that their families can access child care in their own neighbourhood. We also participated in an evaluation of ABA services and supports conducted by The Ministry of Child and Youth Services and McMaster University. The study measured parent's perceptions about the extent to which the services they and their children received were family centered. In 2015, our Preschool Speech and Language program became part of Early Abilities, connecting multiple services under one program including speech and language, infant hearing, and blind and low vision programs. We changed our Growing Healthy Together program during the year so that it now provides a continuum of seamless service for children and families from before birth to six years of age.
