We will be working on a new program (Living Shorelines) that will help stabilize several of our trails using environmentally sound techniques with native vegetation and extensive volunteer labour to introduce plants and biologic materials in trail edge.The Bissett Lake Trail will be extended to ColeHarbour Road with a trail head that will welcome people into the entire trail system.Planning and initial engineering work will commence to extend theBissett Lake trail from the phase 2 end point to the Park and other trails over vacant Municipal lands.This will establish an important accessibleact ive transportation connection in our trail system that will encourage higher levels of use.Planning and preliminary engineering work will be conductedto extend the Forest Hills Trail to Main Street.
