1. Educational programs to inform visitors to Hat Creek Ranch of the historical significance of the heritage site, and in particular the Roadhouse and Shuswap Aboriginal site. Through demonstrations and storytelling, to relate the history of BC during the last half of the 19th century and the 20th dentury and the relationship between early settlers and the aboriginal people. 2. To prepare and maintain living history exhibits and to host and present cultural activities that help to explain the history and memories of the settlers and First Nations inhabitants of the region. 3. To present school programs to visiting students and to train employees and community volunteers in curatorial, conservation and presentation techniques to ensure the ongoing preservation of the historic buildings and artifacts in the care of the
