We address and prevent specific problems faced by those experiencing hardships due to such circumstances as domestic violence, loss of housing, natural disasters, financial distress and personal or family crises. This is delivered through: 1)Compassion and Care Program: We assist people who have been identified as being in distress and/or are marginalized and have not been able to access sufficient support in the community to see their essential needs met for things like food, clothing, shelter, health care and safety. We help them access existing community supports and secure needed supports to stabilize their situations. 2) Domestic Violence Response Program: Through this program, we provide affordable personal protection, empowerment and safety solutions to people living in their own homes and identified as being at high risk of domestic/relational violence or stalking. This includes providing services such as safety planning, threat assessments, security/monitoring equipment and installations, panic and personal safety devices, self-defense training, viable and realistic safety planning, assessment and technical interventions for cyberstalking, This program also works collaboratively with domestic violence shelters, policing agencies and service agencies to provide our expertise for consultations and presentations as well as provide security and cyber audits and assessments of facilities, and raising awareness in the area of domestic violence, etc.
