The Dancing on the Edge Festival Society produced the annual Dancing on the Edge Festival July 7-16th marking the 28th edition of the event. Over the ten day event, a total of 34 performances were given by dance artists fromlocal, regional, and national dance companies. Twenty youth were involved in pre-festival classes and discussions facilitated by professional dance artists. Eight free dance performances were given - four in the downtown eastside of Vancouver and four in Stanley Park. A number of work were commissioned and four dance performances were given by All Bodies Dance Project, a community dance collective made up of dance artists with mobility challenges.
