Ongwanada provided services to approximately 600 individuals of all ages with developmental disabilities and their families in Kingston and Eastern Ontario through community residential and support services. Our residential homes are in urban and rural neighbourhoods located in Napanee, Kingston and Gananoque. We operate a Life Share program in which our clients live with families other than their own. Support Services include vocational programs, skills training, leisure activities, nursing care, social work, psychology, hydrotherapy and physician services. The Ongwanada Regional Treatment home services individuals with development disabilities and acute behavioural issues. This home provides intensive behaviour intervention service before returning individuals to the home environment.
