To promote, educate, enhance and preserve Old Time Fiddling and dancing. To help maintain our heritage and culture. The organization publishes quarterly newsletters for its members informing them of upcoming fiddle contests, jamborees and fiddle camps. It recognizes individuals that have contributed significantly to the promotion and preservation of fiddle music each year by hosting an annual wall of fame event. The organization is also the host and main organizer of the annual Manitoba Open Old Time Fiddle Championship where the best fiddlers in Manitoba compete in various classes.
