We formally train and educate our volunteers to provide home or hospital support to clients with threatening illnesses and their families. We develop and maintain a resource library which is available to anyone looking for information. We offer additional support for grief and bereavement services to the family, following the death of a client; we maintain contact, listen and provide written materials. We offer an annual memorial service as ongoing support and to promote awareness in the community. We offer written info and a speaker to a group interested in becoming volunteers. We are also members of the North Peace Hospice Palliative Care, "Interdisciplinary Team".
