LIFE Recovery Association is a multi-denominational, Christian organization focused on providing safe, clean, abstinence-based recovery environments for all women. All inclusive, it has a licensed 18-bed first staged house (24/7 staffing) & a 5-bed second stage house. Length of stay varies from 3 months to 2 years, depending on the needs of the individual woman. Programs include: 1:1 & group counseling, in-home and community-based activities geared to addressing the cause of the addiction (s), building coping & life skills for recovery. Program elements include the 12 steps (AA & NA), relapse prevention, boundaries, problem-solving, etc. The association also operates "LIFE's Second Chance Thrift Store", which provides a great opportunity for these women to volunteer, gain work experience & gradually reintegrate into society. the over 90 volunteers help operate the store & generally support women through their recovery journey.
