The Centre is a 10,600 year old Paleo-Indian site being developed by The Confederacy of Mainland Mi'kmaq (CMM) on behalf of the Mi'kmaq Nation in Nova Scotia. The site contains some of the earliest evidence of First People on the eastern seaboard of North America. The Centre's endeavor is to protect and oversee this site and develop a facility to share the historical and cultural significance of the Mi'kmaq people.
