CCPL members are caring volunteers and staff representing local businesses, service & education providers, retirees, community and other organizations who all have a passion for literacy and lifelong learning. We help people to; overcome literacy challenges, read, write & do math, communicate effectively, learn how to learn, use computers, fill out forms and applications, gain confidence, Manage their money, pursue education goals, understand literacy issues get connected, improve their English, build book rich family homes, participate in community, value literacy and lifelong learning. CCPL supports and donates books to a wide variety of community groups and activitiesk, including Family Fest, the Salvation Army's Christmas hampers, the Children's Festival, the Child Development Centre Christmas Dinner, Loaves and Fishes, 100 Mile House Food Bank, Women's Centre, Cariboo Family Enrichment Centre as as well as school literacy events and Canada Immigration and Citizenship programs to provide support to qualifiing new immigrants.
