The mission of Nishnawbe-Gamik Friendship Centre Inc. is to provide a meeting and sharing place and centre for people of Aboriginal ancestry and other where they can feel at ease in a friendly atmosphere, develop mutual understanding and appreciation, and discuss common concerns; to provide a communication centre for the exchange of ideas, information and opinions, and to provide a centre for recreational and educational activities and programs for the advancement of Native language and culture for visitors and residents of Sioux Lookout.
