Continue to work on establishing a web site for our Chapter. A board member currently collects and posts pertinent information items and events relating to learning disabilities on Face Book. Our Education Director has developed an electronic package that can be emailed to individuals or parents, giving them information about learning disabilities and options for seeking help. This was developed in response to phone calls and email messages asking for information. Follow-up is then provided on request. Tutors are using an I Pad with students to help with organization and retention of assignments. If successful we will look into trying to purchase student I Pads. A Translator application will also be tested with students in the comingmonths.
