The Young String Performer Foundation (YSPF) has fulfilled its mandate' to create, provide, and subsidize opportunities that will develop the abilities of promising, young string performers of the NCR, up to the age of 18 yrs old. The YSPF has achieved these goals for 2015-2016 by presenting the following: 3 concerts with a total of 35 students participating; media and advertising provided; bursaries/honorariums presented to all performers ($3,900); instrument bank provides loan of donated instruments free of charge to qualified students; the YSPF involves 10 or more volunteers to carry out programs. The YSPF also presented the annual fundraising concert. On Oct 2015, the YSPF completed the European musical exchange with 13 students
