The Forks Foundation has supported cultural and recreational programs over the past year. Donations were received to support The Forks winter skating trails along the rivers; the design and construction of artistic warming huts for public enjoyment and free public celebrations featuring local talent. The Foundation has also established a fund with The Winnipeg Foundation known as The Forks Foundation Endowment Fund. The endowment fund will provide a means to sustain heritage and environmental projects, enhance green and public spaces at The Forks and support festivals and events that build community spirit programs.
