Services Provided by The Hastings North Area Planning Association
Outreach: participate in community events, meetings and presentation that promote crime prevention and effective community policing. Citizen Patrols: volunteers patrol our neighborhoods to increase surveillance in problem areas and record and report suspicious and criminal activity.Community Clean-Up: volunteers perform regular litter clean-ups and graffiti paint outs to reduce graffiti, garbage and hazardous materials in our community. Information & Community Services: address day-to-day non-crisis policing and civic issues including: responding to citizen complaints and concerns; receiving found property; crime prevention information and community resources information. Sunrise Patrol Team: liaise with local businesses to address safety and security concerns. Speed Watch: monitor a radar board that shows vehicles their speed when proceeding through speed sensitive areas.
