Services Provided by Strathcona County Citizens On Patrol Society
Provide support to the RCMP as "extra eyes and ears" in the community. This is accomplished by trained volunteers using their own vehicles to patrol Strathcona County. Radios and safety gear necessary to perform these patrols are provided, as well as training. Also, speed watch, an electronic radar controlled speed board that is set up at various locations. It shows drivers their speed as an awareness statistics collected are provided to the RCMP
