Investing in Children Inc. (IIC) is a non-profit community based collaborative organization whose vision and purpose is to increase community focus on children, facilitate collaborative initiatives and stimulate new opportunities. IIC's vision is to create a community that promotes and supports a healthy environment for families and children. Through the collaboration of education, business, labour, social and cultural organizations, IIC seeks to find ways to share information and come together to plan joint initiatives related to children's healthy development. Investing in Children Core: Developing a policy framework that results in London and area being the best place to raise children. Supports partnership development including business and general literacy, numeracy, healthy eating and physical activity, as well as increased social integration, leadership, educational capacity and volunteerism. IIC identifies and creates awareness of the criteria that encourages the well being and development of children.
