1) Free workshops - How to appreciate Chinese opera - at libraries, community centers & schools. The workshops are conducted in English & Chinese. The workshop teaches the audience history of Chinese opera, meaning of hand gestures, body movement & miming of Chinese opera on stage. Chinese opera make-up demonstrations are conducted on site. 2) Cantonese opera singing classes in Lower Mainland - average $8/session (1-? hr. long). Everybody is welcome (no age limit) 3) Singing with seniors at Killarney Community Center and the South Vancouver Neighbourhood House in Vancouver. 4) 2 large scale productions of Cantonese opera in the Lower Mainland. 5) A two-day free event - Annual Multicultural Heritage Festival. 6) A two-day Cantonese Opera Festival 7) Performing Cantonese Opera on multicultural days, community celebration and other festivals.
