We conduct poetry workshops in elementary and secondary schools, in libraries, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centres and in community centres. We host Word Whips Writing Series (monthly). This is a writing group that is open to the public and is an opportunity for writers to meet and write to various writing exercises in a safe and supportive environment. We organize and host the Summer Dream Literary Arts Festival. This event is an annual, engaging, outdoor festival established to raise public awareness regarding the on-going literacy events, programs & resources available in the community. We provide an annual Youth Scholarships. The scholarship is enrolment into the Vancouver Public Library Summer Book Camp. We offer three annual Poetry Contests with categories for children, teens and adults We provide free Event Listings on our web site for literary arts groups in greater Vancouver & an E-news letter for members. We collect books and school supplies for Rotary Int'l that are then sent to Zimbabwe libraries.
