Besides the expansion of new walking & bike (cycle) trails within the greater Vernon geographic area, the society supported the "Olcanagan Rail Trail Initiative to convert the abandoned rail line from the city of Kelowna, including the district of Lake Country to the municipality of Coldstream, to a walking, bicycle trail.
