1. To promote and encourage among young people a practical interest in aeronautics and assist those intending to pursue a career in the fields of aviation. 2. To provide a voice in Canada for the Air Cadet movement as a whole so that the Canadian public are kept aware of the accomplishments and capabilikties of the movement and of its ability to contribute to national objectives. 3. To advise and assist the Canadian Forces in developing and improving Air Cadet Training programs and manpower needs of the Cadet Instructors Cadre, and resolving problems relating to the implementation of policies and procedures. 4. To study and initiate proposals from and to the Dept. of National Defense and other government departments which enhance the future of the Air Cadet Movement. 5. To participate in long and short term planning with the Canadian Forces and to promote friendly relationships through mutual respect and understanding of the roles of each partner. 6. To encourage discussion and resolution of problems within the Air Cadet Movement and continually endeavour to ensure that the movement will continue to progress and prosper
