The 2016/2017 season will start with a collaboration with the Cathedral Bluffs Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) on Dec 17th to present "Amahl and the Night Visitors". This one-hour opera will feature 5 soloists and introducing, a young boy soprano as Amahl, a selected chorus, and members of CBSO. TrypTych will provide the stage management and props, and we will outsource the costuming. At CBSO's request, TrypTych will again provide stage management, props and costumes on Feb 11 2017 for "Suor Angelica", and opera featuring 15 upcoming young female sngers & performers. On Dec 18th in Toronto and 21st in Barrie, TrypTych presents Scrooge's Christmas with new music and new cast members. TrypTych will present a Two Tenors concert dedicated to a loyal supporter in honour of her 95th birthday. The year will be completed with the ever-popular Spring Fling concert, a look back at previous years' favourites set to script. These events are all supported and managed through the generosity of our volunteers.
