This Society was founded in 2002. It provides direct support to individuals who are in need of equipment, medication, training, reference materials, transportation and nutritional supplements. The Society works closely with the Cumberland Health Care Foundation to provide integrated support for the Palliative Care Program of Cumberland County. A current major project of the Society is the Cumberland County Hospice which has as its mandate, the contruction of 5-7 bed facility, providing Palliative Care to Cumberland County patients.
