Hosted various Dhamma Sermon sessions for youth and adults through out the year with the assistance from our resident monk Venerable Chandananda, and other visiting monks from neighboring Canadian Provinces, The United States and Sri Lanka. We have weekly meditation events organized for the youth as well as others hosted by Venerable Chandananda thero. In October 2016, we have hosted a Katina Pinkama, which a great meritorious event to donate various artifacts to a priest/temple he resides. An event to commemorate the Sri Lankan New Year was hosted with the intention to create awareness of the Sri Lankan Culture among the younger generation. We will host this event on an annual basis in every April. We will be hosting the Annual Vesak Ata Sil program in May 2017 in Winnipeg, MB.
