John Howard Society of Simcoe Muskoka provides support to both youth and adult offenders through a number of programs. All programs are funded primarily through Ontario Ministry funding. The main program in this organization, which accounts for 63% of funding, is the North Simcoe Attendance Centre which provides a place for youth to go for counselling visits and is also a resource centre for these clients. Other programs include the Adult and Youth CSO programs, where we work with clients on probation and help ensure court orders for community service are supervised.
