Services Provided by Workers' Resource Centre
The Workers' Resource Centre has two main programs - its Case Work program and its Employment Rights and Obligations and Benefits Education program. The Case Work program provides individual assistance to workers who live or work in Alberta and need help with Employment Standards complaints, WCB claims, employment-related complaints under the Human Rights Act and claims for employer and CPP disability benefits. The Employment Rights, Obligations and Benefits Education program provides public education workshops on most subjects dealth with under the Case Work program, usually in partnership with other non-profit agencies in Calgary area.
