1. SSHRC Research Project Mosaic is collaborating with the University of Guelph to Launch a new project title "Communities of Colour and Reconciliation in Canada". This projectinvolves accessing, surveying and dialoguing with individuals living in the GTA who identify with the South Asian and/or Caribbean communities to acertain their understanding and opinion about Canada's ongoing reconciliation process with indigenous peoples living in Canada. 2.Peace Patron's Dinner The annual Peace Patron's dinner was held with great success in May to pay tribute to an outstanding Canadian, the Hon, Senator Murray Sinclair, in recognition of his exemplary life's work in promoting peace and reconciliation in Canada. 3. Mosaic in Conversation The first of a number of "Conversations" was held in 2016 which featured "mohammed, from Israel" and his reflections on peacebuilding. Our Mosaic intern, Fernando Casanova, held this conversation with Dr. Mohammed Wattad, in which he described how he had navigated between his Arab and Israeli Identities as a legal scholar, with a view that "with time, success will come"
