The Edmonton and Area Land Trust had had outstanding public and organisational interest in its Protecting Pollinators program, building and erecting Bee Hotels in the Edmonton region for native pollinators (through community workshops, building and/or installating > 400 Bee hotels in public institution spaces, or for organisations or the public, many pollinator prochures, website resource pages, blogs & news articles). We initiated a Bats and Owls educational/conservation program. Our land conservation program restores protected areas, wetlands and conserves biodiversity. We continued to develop new programs to involve university or other youth in research or our properties, particularly a Kids Discovery kit & webpage. We wrote a bi-weekly Natures Notes column for the Edmonton Journal.
