The Brighton Health Services Centre was incorporated in 2002 "to operate a community health care centre by providing medical, health and support services to the general public." The Centre currently houses a Family Health Team, four physicians, A YMCA fitness facility, an Ontario early Years Centre, a satellite Community Care Access Centre, and a socials services "hub" for the County of Northumberland. The BHSC charity operates as a landlord to these service providers. It continues to meet the changing facility needs through rent subsidization and Community Health Grants to ensure that these important services continue to be sustainable.
