Grace Rwanda Society, a not-for-profit volunteer-operated organization, is dedicated to promoting a strategic and holistic approach expending its education/literacy projects in Rwanda through District and School Literacy projects, as well tackling health literacy and development sustainability. Over 2,500 volunteers hours are spent annually to effectively manage and operate this charity committed to international development. Grace Rwanda believes that quality education is a fundamental tool for human development and essential to eradicating poverty and achieving sustainable national economic growth. Partnership and collaboration with local and international organizations increases its cost effective operational efficiency. The following 4 pillars are the foundation of the organization: 1. EDUCATION: Literacy - Libraries and reading programs for Schools and District Youth Centers throughout Rwanda 2. WELLBEING OF WOMEN, YOUTH & CHILDREN - Development & Well being seminars, - Nutrition: Kamwa & Community gardens for schools and community groups, and - Promote physical activities through youth centers & rural schools 3. COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT & CAPACITY BUILDING - Social Enterprise (SE) Initiatives promoting beneficiaries ownership, self-reliance, and sustainability 4. AWARENESS - Cultural and Historical exchange - Public Engagement - Field Trips for knowledge & cultural exchange for youth and diaspora.
