To Educate and increase the public's understanding and appreciation of the arts by providing performances of an artistic nature in public places, senior citizens homes, churches, community centres and educational institutions and by providing seminars on topics relating to such performances. Sweetwater Music Festival provides high quality classical music in the Owen Sound area and brings world-class local and international musicians together to create a collaborative energy. A unique annual event provides the community with three days of superb diverse concerts and the opportunity to observe the creative process in action. The festival gives back to the community by providing education through master classes, admission to rehearsals and school visits and by creating an environment in which young would-be musicians and inspired.
