TREnDS engaged in outreach related to school-based programming and secured a contract with the Sacred Heart School of Montreal to pilot a program for their student body of 210 girls. The program was delivered once a month starting in September 2016 and included workshops related to media and its impact on women and girl's self-image, approaches to decision making, communications, and a practical session on how a fashion magazine is developed. This new program will continue in 2017, with expected completion in May 2017. Related to this contract, TREnDS also worked on the development of new programming for deployment in other schools, including co-educational environments, and engaged in business development activities to secure a follow up contracts.
