The organization oversees the delivery of services and operations of three programs (Career, Literacy and English as a Second Language - ESL): Career is an employment preparation and job skills development program working with low income and EIA recipients as well as newcomers to Canada. Literacy is an academic upgrading programs that helps learners improve their literacy skills. It prepares them to enter an Adult Learning Centre to get their mature high school diploma or helps newcomers to refine their English language skills to enable them to further their education. ESL is an Adult ESL program that teaches English to newcomers, Permanent Residents and Refugees who live in the St. Vital/St. Boniface area. They acquire the English language skills necessary to settle successfully into their new community and into Canadian society.
