Services Provided by The Nova Voce Male Choral Society
Eight concerts and one workshop are planned for the coming year. Concerts will be held around the province in Bedford, Middleton, Halifax (x2), Mahone Bay, Sydney and Truro. There is a plan to possibility do a joint concert with The Phoenix Youth Choir. Nova Voce will continue its tradition of a joint Christmas Concert between Nova Voce and The Halifax Boys Honour Choir. There are plans to hold a Fall Funraiser to feature combos and quartets of members for the purpose of showing the varied talents of the choir and to raise money for travel expenses for Sydney. In addition the annual Fundraiser is scheduled for the winter months to support future travel. Nova Voce may have the possibility of augmenting the Dalhousie Collegium Cantouram in the performance of Carmin Burana in the spring. Nova Voce will continue its charitable work by supporting the Phoenix Youth Choir and will continue with its mentorship program awarding a scholarship to a deserving music student.
