In the previous fiscal year, we made our first grant to a qualified donee organization that is dedicated to the rescue of dogs and cats in distress. Our donated funds were spent this fiscal year by that qualified donee on critical veterinary care for rescued elderly cats which are or to be adopted out to senior citizens. Our volunteers carefully reviewed and assessed the expenditure by the qualified donee to ensure that every cent of our donation was spent on veterinary care for the elderly cats. This first gift by us and our process for reviewing the use of funds serves as our protocol for additional gifts we intend to make in subsequent years.
