Objective to operate a community recreation hall & grounds for the benefit of the citizens of Parkdale-Maplewood & surrounding areas. That is, - To hold weekly card parties (ie postponed in 2016) - To provide a community meeting place, a site for concerns, parties, family reunions, election poles, 4H & Lodge meetings, banquets & special events.- To operate various community breakfasts & dinners to fund hall operating expenses & supply a venue for special fund raisers. - To provide a location for receptions after Remembrance Day, funerals & weddings. To supply a site for the Parkdale-Maplewood Community Museum to hold their yearly major fund raiser & other necessary functions.
