Due to lengthy waiting list for all types of accommodation in our complex, the Home is proceeding with the construction of 6 new life-lease townhouses. The Emergency Response program has been expanded due to enhanced funding provided by the LHIN to provide staffing on a 24-7 basis. This allows for immediate response and action in a health emergency and allows for health monitoring and teaching of seniors in the complex. The Home is undertaking a renovation in the Long Term Care to paint and update dining rooms to create a more pleasurable dining experience for our seniors with the addition of new tables and chairs and alternate lighting. A new tub room was created in the Retirement Residence with a walk-in tub to allow seniors in that Home to bathe more often independently.
