We did a wonderful job informing people of our project from the months of March to October 2016. We gave presentations to Companies during lunch hours to their employees in Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto. We received donations from folks far and wide in Canada and the USA over the Internet through our website. And then... My wife, "..." left for India in October 2015, with a view to commence the school in November 2015. On 3rd November, three days prior to the commencement of our school, six (6) bandits stealthily entered the school at 2:30 am, and physically attacked my wife whilst she was alseep and subsequently robbed her of what ever little money and jewelry that she had. When my wife eventually managed to seek proper medical attention three days later-it was determined that she had four broken ribs. The physical wounds have taken 6 months to heal, but the mental anguish and the post traumatic stress disorder continues to manifest her daily life. Since that day, we have not had the desire to keep our charity active. To that effect we have locked up our school premises and removed all our belongings and school equipment and stationed security guards somewhat permanently. We intend to return as and when my wife heals and we implore that we will be allowed to continue as a charity when the time is right and ripe. We expect to re-start in January of 2017.
