1. Mentor program: recruit volunteers with occupational hygiene expertise ("mentors") and people ("mentees") seeking help from a mentor and match them. Mentors-mentees then set up regular on-line meetings in which the mentor provides advice, guidance and assistance to the mentee. This involved about 700 volunteer-hours. 2. Technical assistance: provide advice from volunteers on technical matters relating to occupational health to those engaged in occupational health/hygiene activities or exposed to hazardous agents in developing world, e.g. controlling exposure to silica among agate workers in India and brickmaking workers in Nepal. About 1500 volunteer hours. 3. Training and information: develop training materials, organize educational sessions on occupational health and hygiene matters, including: monthly teleconference information sessions, public speaking at conferences and seminars. Deliver training programs on occupational health, hygiene and safety to people working in the occupational health and safety field who would otherwise lack access to training, e.g delivered an occupational hygiene course in Viet Nam. Delivered presentations at a public conference about exposure to hazardous materials among workers engaged in brick making, stone crushing, aggregate work. About 2500 volunteers hours. 4.
