Ppcli Foundation is a Foundations Charity located in Edmonton, AB.

Services Provided by Ppcli Foundation
The focus was on fund development that would enable grants to charities that support serving and former soldiers and their families in need. To this end, during 2016, grants were made to the PPCLI Regimental Fund for the benevolent work of the Fund and Wounded Warriors. Significant progress was made in identifying corporate and other supporters. Our assessment of needs indicates a priority need for programs that support the treatment of mental illness, especially illness related to occupational stress injury and post-traumatic stress disorder. The Chair in Rehabilitation medicine for Veterans at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Alberta is a program for research and treatment we wish to support. Amputee treatment and therapies, such as amputee mentoring, is a second area of emphasis. The public events of commemoration included the refurbishment and dedication/re-dedication of memorials denoting the important historical events and Canadian sacrifice of World War 1. The Foundation has also been in discussion with other charities such as the Veteran's Transition Network and Wounded Warriors.
