Primary charitable activity has been the provision of material to help entertain/distract the children during their treatment at the Cancer Care ward (CK5) of the Health Science Centre in Winnipeg,MB. We focused on providing DVDs for the children to watch as the ward has converted all the patient rooms from VCR to DVD and they were in great need of the new style of media. We have confirmed with the ward that the material being provided is of great benefit to the children and their families. We are now focusing on establishing the scholarship program for childhood cancer survivors now that we have enough funds to sustain the program. The first scholarships will be awarded by year end 2017 (structure and processesbeing established in 2016).
