Pro Bono Canada was created for the purposes of encouraging pro bono activities and supporting provincial pro bono organizations.PBC is dedicated to increasing awareness of pro bono activities on the national level and to encourage the expansion of pro bono legal services across the country. Pro Bono Canada is committed to the following: assisting organization to establisha pro bono component to their services;developing new pro bono programs where a need is currently unfulfilled;providing the legal community with training and resources associated with pro bono legal services;and conducting research in to issues that affect the legal community's participation in pro bono services.
